Our story
Started with one team
Make A Play began as a single basketball team of kids who needed somewhere to play. Sponsors showed up, families showed up, and now we are building a year-round program: basketball in the winter, track and baseball in the spring, golf in the summer.
We keep fees low on purpose. Sponsors cover the gap, volunteers coach, and no kid is turned away over money.

FAQ
Good questions
Who can play?
Any child in the listed age range for that sport. No tryouts, no cuts. Age is based on the player age on the first day of the season.
What if my child has never played?
Perfect. Most of our players are beginners. Our coaches teach fundamentals first.
What does the fee cover?
Uniform, gym or field time, referees or officials, insurance, team photo and awards. We keep fees low because our sponsors cover the rest.
Are refunds available?
Full refund before the first practice. After that, prorated for injury with a note from a doctor.
Can I volunteer or coach?
Yes. Every coach is a volunteer who passes a background check. Use the volunteer form and we will be in touch.
